This painting is a memory of my childhood. If you were as lucky as I was growing up, you know what it's like to play on fresh hay.
I have painted this from a sketch I made when I was in the Lakes. This view is of a lake Windermere and is my favourite spot so far. It was a cold day and I saw snow in a distance. I absolutely love snow and every time I see it, it takes my breath away. I hope you can feel what I felt when looking at this piece.
 This painting was done on high quality canvas board, using professional lightfast oil paints. It has been varnished and is ready to be framed.
